Baking bread yourself is not difficult. Our pumpkin seed beetroot bread not only looks good, it’s also wonderfully juicy. Add a creamy dipping sauce or a healthy topping of your choice – and a delicious snack is ready!

Sift both types of flour and mix with salt. Mix beetroot juice with sugar and yeast. Add the juice mixture to the flour.

Knead everything with a dough hook for 8-10 minutes. Take the dough out of the bowl and knead lightly with your hands. Form into a ball and place back in the bowl. Moisturize a little. Cover the bowl with a towel and put it in a warm place. Let the dough rise for an hour.

Remove the dough from the bowl and knead again on a lightly floured work surface. To do this, dust your hands with flour. Form a loaf and cut the surface crosswise with a sharp knife. Sprinkle pumpkin seeds on top and press them down lightly.

Preheat the oven to 230 degrees, top/bottom heat. Line a baking tray with baking paper and place a loaf of bread on it. Cover with a towel and let the dough rise for 10 minutes. Then put it in the oven without the towel. After 10 minutes of cooking time, lower the temperature by 40 degrees. Bake the bread for approx. 45 minutes and, if necessary, do a baking test.
