1 g of protein
Preparation time:
35 minutes (plus 4 hours cooling time)
And it’s done like this:
Peel the melon and remove the seeds from the pulp. Then puree.
Rinse the mint and shake dry, then chop. Squeeze lemon juice.
Place the saucepan on the stove and bring the melon puree to a boil with lemon juice and sugar. Stir until the sugar has dissolved and remove the saucepan from the heat. Let cool.
Stir in the mint and gin and pour into a frost-proof container. Place it in the freezer for about 4 hours, stirring every 30 minutes. Ready!
Wow, this Gin Melon Sorbet only requires five ingredients! In addition to those already mentioned, only sugar, mint and lemon juice are added to the ice cream. All ingredients you probably already have at home. And what does that mean? There’s really no excuse not to try sorbet right away.
But beware: melon sorbet with gin is not suitable for children. So better prepare an alternative for them. For example, melon sorbet with strawberries or creamy stracciatella ice cream. Or an ice cream-cheese cake with lemon and poppy seeds comes to the table. Everyone is surprised, bet?
